Malcolm Bane said,
“If you wait until you can do everything for everybody, instead of something for somebody, you’ll end up not doing anything for anybody.”
No innovation would happen, EVER, if everyone waited until they were “ready” before acting. If I had waited until I was ready, I would not have gotten married I would have missed out on one of the best things in my life. If I had waited until I was ready, I would never have had children and I would have missed out on 6 of the best things in my life. Am I a perfect husband? No.
Am I a perfect father? No.
Am I glad that I acted on my desire to get married and have children? You bet I am!
Readiness is often wrongly defined as being capable of achieving and maintaining the end result. It’s not. Readiness is being capable of starting the journey. We don’t know what life has in store for us right around the corner.
We can’t see the future. But we can make it. You can make your future happen by acting now. God isn’t sitting there holding this bright future just out of reach waiting for you to be ready to take it. He is holding it right in front of your face telling you that you’re ready to take it and waiting for you to receive it and act on it.
Start now. You’re ready for your first step and I believe in you.
